About the Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of 7 members appointed by the mayor and approved by the City Council for a term of 3 years. The Commission has the powers and duties to review and recommend to the Council:
- Comprehensive plan adoption and implementation
- All proposals to adopt or amend land development regulations
- Monitor and oversee the effectiveness of the comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance
- Requests for zoning changes
- Exercise control over platting and subdividing land within the corporate limits of the City of Whitehouse
Regular Meetings
3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at 311 E. Main St.
