Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 

The City of Whitehouse is committed to ensuring that individuals with disabilities have equal access to City programs, services, activities, and facilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. 

 ADA Nondiscrimination Statement

 ADA Coordinator 

The City of Whitehouse has designated an ADA Coordinator to oversee compliance with the ADA and to assist residents with accessibility-related questions or requests.

Requesting Accommodations 

The City of Whitehouse will make reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to ensure access to City services, programs, meetings, and activities. 

If you need an accommodation or auxiliary aid, please contact the ADA Coordinator as far in advance as possible so arrangements can be made. 

 ADA Policy and Public Notice 

The City of Whitehouse has adopted an ADA Policy and Public Notice in accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. 

This notice explains the City’s commitment to nondiscrimination, reasonable accommodations, effective communication, and how to file a complaint related to accessibility.

 ADA Grievance Procedure 

Any individual who believes they have been subjected to discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act may file a grievance with the City of Whitehouse. 

Grievances should be submitted in writing and should describe the alleged discrimination, including the date, location, and nature of the issue.
